About Aceso Homecare
A local family, caring for our neighbours across Cheshire and Staffordshire
Aceso Home Care is a local, independent home care company supporting communities across Cheshire East and the Staffordshire Moorlands. We work directly with clients and their families, as well as alongside the NHS and local authorities, providing personalised care and practical support that helps people live safely and independently in their own homes.
As a family-owned business, we have no big-company targets to hit — which means we can treat every person as an individual. You can be confident you’ll get the care that’s genuinely right for you, delivered by people who see you, not a list of needs.

And our name?
In Greek mythology, Aceso is the goddess of the healing process — daughter of Asclepius, the god of medicine. She stands not for a single cure, but for recovery, patience and care over time.
That’s exactly the spirit we bring to your door: steady, attentive support that helps you get well and stay well, at home.

As the Care Quality Commission nominated individual, Amanda takes overall responsibility for Aceso services and gives input into the clinical side of what we do. She has substantial experience as a senior leader within the NHS, and a degree in psychology.
“Providing high quality, personalised care has always been a passion of mine, and remains the golden thread throughout Aceso. As a small family run business, we believe that by investing in our staff and creating a happy place to work, our clients receive the best possible service.”
Nicole Griffiths
Registered Manager
Nicole takes day-to-day management responsibility for services. She heads our team of carers, supporting them and helping them develop and grow so we can continue to offer outstanding person-centred service. She has an NVQ5 in Health and Social Care and expertise in issues ranging from benefits and housing legislation to the recovery journey, the care programme approach, and working with psychosis.
“Each client and care worker becomes a member of our Aceso family; this motivates us all to go above and beyond for clients and family members.”
Our Carers
Our hand-picked carers are all DBS checked and must provide professional references and pass both an interview and a 12-week induction programme before being offered a role. With around 40 carers in the team, there are too many to mention individually here. But you can be sure that whoever we allocate to your care will be competent, kind and compassionate.
Reviews
“Every day, our team works hard to provide care we can be proud of — so when families and residents share their experiences through reviews, it really brightens our day. Thank you for your continued support!”
